Ingredients

FILLING
- 1 lb ground beef / turkey(500 g)
- 4 medium size red onion, diced
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Habanero pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 cup frozen peas(150 g), defrosted
WRAPPER
- Eggroll wrapper or spring roll wrappers— Best from Walmart
Preparation
- In a large pan over medium-high heat, add minced garlic and sliced habanera and the add, the ground beef. Use a spatula to break apart the meat and cook for 3 minutes or until no more redness in the meat..
- Add the Peas and carrots and salt and cook for 4 minutes. Taste the meat to decide the desired heat and remove the habanera
- Add onions and cook until soft – do not over cook
- Add, coriander, black pepper, cumin, and Garam masala to the meat. Cook for 2 minutes until the meat sizzles
- Drain in a colander and let it cool. (Never stuff with hot meat)
- Shape the wrappers and fill them. Seal them and deep fly.
Always cover your wrapper with tea clothe
Invest on a good food brush to wet the wrappers.
